Carol Garland - Artist Statement

Watercolour Artist

Like other members of the Guild I started to paint in my retirement and after moving to Canmore. Donna Jo Massie introduced me to watercolours and, although they present a challenge that requires a light touch, they yield many interesting effects. They mix and flow on the paper and there’s a freshness to them.

Prior to retirement I worked in Health and Social Service with a B.Sc.O.T. and a M.P.A.
