Leysan Yantilina -  Artist Statement

Hello, my name is Leysan. I’m a Russian artist, born and raised in the Ural Mountains of rural Bashkortostan. After extensive world travel the past 16 years I’m now living in Canmore

Since my early childhood, I have been fascinated by the natural beauties of our work. I have studied Arts in St. Petersburg, UFA and am continuing to work with international artists improving my painting skills.

Travel has always been the source of inspiration. I mainly paint with oil on canvas.
